HOW IT WORKS
Nyumbani BNBS is a listings marketplace. We connect guests and renters with hosts — we don't process payments, hold deposits, or manage bookings on either side.
Arranging a Stay or Rental
- Every listing includes the host's contact details, plus an in-app "Message on Nyumbani" option.
- Dates, pricing, deposits and move-in/check-in details are agreed directly between you and the host.
- Some hosts list a cancellation policy or house rules directly on their listing — read it before reaching out.
Payments
- Nyumbani BNBS never collects payment, rent or deposits on behalf of a host or guest.
- Agree on a payment method directly with the other party — never share card numbers, PINs or one-time codes in chat.
- If someone claims to represent Nyumbani and asks you to pay through the app, that's a scam — report it immediately.
Cancellations & Disputes
- Because arrangements happen off-platform, cancellations and refunds are between you and the host — check their listing notes for their terms.
- Nyumbani BNBS can't issue refunds, since we're never party to the payment.
- If you experience fraud, harassment, or a listing that misrepresents the property, use the Report option in chat or contact us — we take trust and safety seriously.
